High-speed Dye sublimation paper is one of the important consumables for the sublimation process.

Dye sublimation transfer printing is a new process. Use an inkjet printer equipped with dye sublimation transfer ink to print portraits, landscapes, texts and other pictures on the inkjet paper for dye sublimation transfer in a mirror image manner. The transfer paper is heated to about 200°C by the thermal transfer equipment, so that the thermal transfer ink sublimates and penetrates into the substrate, so that the color image on the paper can be realistically transferred to textiles, porcelain plates, metals and other materials.

During storage and use of sublimation transfer paper, the edges of the paper often warp. This situation has a great negative impact on digital printing. The warping of the edge of the paper can easily cause paper feeding difficulties during printing, and then paper jams, scraping nozzles, and so on. The scraping nozzle not only affects the printing effect, but also causes unfavorable situations such as blurred patterns and ink piles, but also has a very adverse effect on the printing equipment. Scraping the print head may cause serious consequences such as damage to the print head and reduced service life of the printing equipment.

So why does the sublimation paper curl up?

The warpage of the dye sublimation paper is mainly due to the difference in the absorption of moisture in the air between the coated surface and the non-coated surface of the transfer paper, resulting in inconsistent expansion and contraction on both sides. Under normal circumstances, the uncoated surface of sublimation transfer paper is more likely to absorb moisture, which makes the paper more stretchable, so it curls toward the coated surface.

In order to alleviate this situation, some high-quality Sublimation paper will also be thin-coated on the back of the paper surface, thereby alleviating the problem of warpage of the transfer paper.

Considering the actual experience of customers, MILLIONTON company attaches great importance to the warpage problem of dye sublimation transfer paper, and tries to improve the warpage problem of the paper starting from the coating, and has achieved certain results. Welcome customers to come to consult.
