The Standard Compact Palletizer is an economical and simple way to robotically palletize your product. Cases are conveyed to the pick location on a gravity roller conveyor where the robot’s vacuum End of Arm Tool firmly grasps the case and places it on the pallet. Your operator removes the full pallet from the cell places an empty pallet on the floor.
- User Friendly– push button pause/restart for manual pallet exchange and product changeover
- Dependable – ease labor and ergonomic challenges related to manual palletizing
- Flexible – offers the flexibility to easily change from one product to another and add new products in the future
- Compact – requires minimal floor space
- Common Base – system is movable by fork truck, allowing for quick installation and startup

Part Three: A Cost Analysis of a Palletizing System
Often companies need an estimate to gauge how much a robot cell might cost (robot cost is just a percentage of the total cost). This knowledge helps gauge the possibility of moving forward with a project. It is not worth spending a lot of time exploring the needs and budget if you know up front the cost will be too high.
In the Tech Talk article Should You Purchase a Used Robot?, we breakdown, into percentages, the cost of each area of a robot cell. We show the total cost of the robot in the robot cell averages out to be 25%.
Each FANUC robot has a base price but this price can vary. Some example are:
